The Chamber

The Bristol Bay Borough Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit member-run 501(c)6, formally incorporated in 1998. Our primary mission is to advance the general welfare and prosperity of our residents, members, and businesses to build a healthy economy and improve the quality of life in our communities.   The Chamber has been an ongoing contributor to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) planning process since 2017 that has been managed by Bristol Bay Native Association since the 1970’s. The Chamber has an active Tourism Committee that has been working with interagency partners, National Park Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, Bristol Bay Borough, and Lake & Peninsula Borough, since 2018 to build community relationships, and to design, fund, and construct a new visitor center near the King Salmon Airport Terminal for visitors and residents to expand opportunities to experience the unparalleled beauty and diversity of the Southwest Alaska.
